Positive Assurance Through Depression – A Letter from Me, to You:

Happy Friday, everyone!

To end our weekly mindfulness topic of situational depression, I wanted to do something different for this blog post. I wanted to create a sincere letter & reminder for those going through this battle. Like I’ve explained, I have been there before and the pain is all too familiar. Through mindfulness meditation, I found the peace I was seeking over the years. I want you to know you are not alone, and to take in my words when you feel overwhelmed.

So, this is my letter to you, beautiful readers. And as always, if you’re living in the Boston area, I am always available for private meditation lessons through Karmic Flow to help ease your pain:

A Letter from Me, to You:

This is a letter from me, to you;

A gentle reminder that strength is found from within,

A gentle reminder to live like the wind – flowing effortlessly to let positivity in.

To feel the soft caress of a pleasant breeze,

to let the winds silent song bring you ease.

This is a letter from me, to you;

A joyful reminder to always be mindful

and embrace your feelings through times of trial.

To choose kindness in a world often hateful and cold,

to be courageous and mindfully bold.

This is a letter from me, to you;

to greet the morning in contemplation of gratitude,

and connect newfound positivity and your attitude,

to welcome happiness in times of fear,

and even through sadness, hidden joys are always near.

This is my letter from me, to you;

For when your depression has reached a peak,

To be a shepherd for the peace you seek.

To have meditation in the back of your mind,

and through your breath, receive happiness you’ve longed to find.

This is not the end, my friend,

Life’s lessons are not meant to break you,

And when you feel love is visibly absent,

Don’t let the loneliness shake you.

This is my letter from me, to you.

With love,

Marissa Ranahan – Owner of Karmic Flow.
